The Horrible World of Web Hosting

I was going to write a blog post about the horrible customer service I received from my web hosting provider. But then this post EXACTLY mirrored my situation. Like that poster, I originally signed up with that provider before it was acquired. They were overselling a service which, after repeated times back and forth with their support console and a chat session, turned out to be vaporware. They finally admitted to that when I demanded a refund for that upgrade.

I thought of jumping to another provider, but I probably wouldn’t really do much better. Yes, it really is a¬†horrible world of web hosting.

The only thing I don’t agree with in the above is the “switching at any time is fairly cheap and easy” part, because any switching is a pain.

So I guess I’m stuck where I am….
